When handling complex legal matters and mapping out strategies for clients, O’Melveny & Myers health care partner David Deaton does some of his best thinking while working at his 10-acre flower farm in Northern California.

Work at EarthSpoke Farms is physical, but beneficial from a wellness standpoint, Deaton said, as it allows him to subconsciously think about complex matters. Being part of a family business also helps him understand and connect with his clients.
