University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law graduates recorded the best public pass rate on the February bar exam, according to statistics released by California’s state bar.

Almost 65% of first-time test-takers from the Sacramento law school passed the two-day exam. Just under 46% of those from McGeorge repeating the test were successful, creating an overall pass rate of 50%, edging out Loyola Law School’s 49%. Thirty-four percent of all applicants who sat for the February exam passed.
