A Tarzana lawyer accused of conspiring to derail lawsuits against a municipal utility can call former Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer as a witness in his professional misconduct trial, a state bar court judge ruled Thursday.

Judge Yvette Roland rejected Feuer’s motion to quash a subpoena issued by lawyers for Michael Libman, who is facing possible disbarment for his role in a litigation scandal surrounding the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. Libman told the court in a June 14 filing that Feuer, who left office in 2022, can shed light on any alleged collusion and “who was involved.”
