Sidley Austin hired Jonathan Olsen as a partner in its corporate financial practice based in San Diego this week, as the firm continues to build its California presence.
Olsen joined the firm from Goodwin Procter, where he spent a year and seven months as partner building a technology and mergers and acquisitions practice. Prior to that, he was a partner at DLA Piper's San Diego office for more than 12 years.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
