The Johnson & Johnson law firm in Beverly Hills has filed a copyright infringement claim against rap artist Calvin “Snoop Dogg” Broadus Jr. and his company, Death Row Records, alleging misuse of two compositions created by musician Trevor Lawrence Jr.

The complaint filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California alleges Snoop Dogg used instrumental tracks recorded by Lawrence on two songs released Feb. 11, 2022, on Snoop Dogg’s album “BODR.”
