The state bar has suspended a Tustin attorney’s law license after he failed to defend ethics charges that he misappropriated up to $282 million in client funds.

Daniel Stephen March faces likely disbarment for 27 counts of professional misconduct related to “debt invalidation services” work he promised clients through his firm, Litigation Practice Group. Bar prosecutors say he mishandled payments from as many as 60,000 clients looking to reduce or eliminate personal debt and to fend off creditors.
