U.S. District Judge Vince Chhabria was assigned to the $117.5 million data breach settlement with Yahoo after a dispute arose between lead counsel John Yanchunis, a Tampa, Florida, partner at Morgan & Morgan, and Zaveri Tabb, which sought clarification about whether lead counsel in the multidistrict litigation failed to pay $56,444 of its fees.
