The generative artificial intelligence revolution has sparked a boom in AI-powered assistants that foster collaboration, boost productivity and ease the burden of seemingly endless video calls.
But these tools also come with risks. Software that can summarize and transcribe remote meetings in real time, or allow users to take screen, microphone and camera recordings simultaneously to share later with colleagues can also be creating an unintentional digital paper trail, exposing companies to fresh pitfalls following years of careful data minimization.
