An Internal Revenue Service special agent who reviewed Girardi Keese’s financial records as part of the federal government’s criminal case against Tom Girardi grew visibly frustrated on Thursday as one of the plaintiffs’ lawyer’s public defenders attempted to poke holes in his investigation.
About a week into the Tom Girardi criminal trial, Ryan Roberson, the IRS agent, testified on Wednesday about several charts he compiled that showed a particular client’s settlement deposited into a Girardi Keese trust account, then how much went out of that account, and to whom.
