Tom Girardi's lawyers called a string of witnesses on Monday, including his longtime secretary and housekeeper, to testify about his cognitive decline in the years before Girardi Keese's collapse.
On the third week of Girardi's criminal trial, his lawyers introduced jurors to some of the same witnesses who testified during last year's mental competency hearing. U.S. District Judge Josephine Staton, of the Central District of California, found Girardi, 85, competent to stand trial.
