A San Mateo County judge was disciplined on Tuesday for denying a litigant’s plea to be heard in a civil harassment restraining order hearing.
In its order admonishing Superior Court Judge Susan Greenberg, the Commission on Judicial Performance wrote that the judge not only got the law wrong in the 2022 hearing but abused her authority in denying the target of the restraining order his fundamental rights.
