Former Alameda Research CEO Caroline Ellison is asking a judge not to send her to prison given her “extensive cooperation” with federal prosecutors in their case against her ex-boyfriend, FTX’s Sam Bankman-Fried.
In court papers filed late Tuesday, counsel for Ellison noted their client’s immediate and enduring cooperation with federal authorities following the collapse of cryptocurrency exchange FTX and related companies in November 2022.
