The U.S. Senate on Wednesday confirmed Los Angeles state Judge Michelle Williams Court to the federal bench, leaving three remaining vacancies on the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
Court was confirmed on a largely partisan 49-44 vote. She will join the court's western division, and her chambers will be in Los Angeles.
