Days after a federal judge ripped the performance of plaintiffs lawyers in a major copyright case targeting Meta Platforms Inc., four Boies Schiller Flexner partners, including firm chairman David Boies, joined the legal team as co-counsel on Tuesday.
Partner Joshua Schiller said he, Boies, Maxwell Pritt and Jesse Panuccio agreed over the weekend to represent more than a dozen authors and other content creators who have accused Meta of using their copyrighted works to train its large language generative artificial intelligence models.
