Speaking at a conference in Brussels on Thursday, a senior Google competition counsel expressed concern about the policy goals set for the next EU competition chief.
Last week, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen tasked competition commissioner nominee Teresa Ribera Rodríguez with revamping the bloc's antitrust policy so that it helps European companies compete around the globe as more nations move toward increased protectionism.
