California's Supreme Court on Tuesday approved changes to the state's bar exam that will allow the biannual test to be administered in homes and smaller vendor-operated sites instead of the traditional convention centers and hotel ballrooms.
The justices also voted unanimously to authorize a scoring bonus on a future bar exam to applicants who score high enough next month on an "experimental" multiple-choice test designed to gauge the validity of a new exam written by Kaplan Exam Services.
