SAG-AFTRA Health Plan, which provides health care benefits to eligible members of the entertainment industry, was hit with three class actions in California following a data breach incident that occurred in September.

The lawsuits were filed between Dec. 5 and Dec. 10 by the Clarkson Law Firm; Milberg Coleman Bryson Phillips Grossman; and Clapp & Lauinger and Wynne Law Firm in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. The claim filed by Clapp & Lauinger and Wynne Law Firm noted that plaintiffs are seeking at least $5 million.
