Davis Polk & Wardwell moved into a new office in Northern California this week, expanding its square footage by 31% in anticipation of hiring more lawyers in practice groups including capital markets and IP litigation.
The firm is moving after almost 25 years at 1600 El Camino Real in Menlo Park, an office Davis Polk’s West Coast commercial litigation practice leader and Northern California office co-head Neal Potischman said served the firm well but was becoming outdated.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
