A California federal court has rejected music streaming platform Musi's request for a preliminary injunction against Apple in a breach-of-contract lawsuit.

Musi filed a complaint against the Big Tech giant on Oct. 2, 2024, after Apple removed the Musi app from its app store due to copyright infringement concerns. In addition to a preliminary and permanent injunction against Apple to restore the Musi app to the app store, Musi is seeking damages on its claims of breach of contract and breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing.
