Some distributed firms’ Los Angeles lawyers and staff have seen their lives and work disrupted by the wildfires around the city, including some who were forced to evacuate the houses that serve as their law offices.

But leaders of two firms said their employees were not harmed and none saw their homes damaged or destroyed by the fires that had burned more than 60 square miles, including residential areas around the outskirts of the city, and killed 25 people since Jan. 7, the firm leaders said.
