White & Case has secured a victory for its client Voltage LLC against Shoals Technologies Group, ending a nearly two-year patent dispute between the solar tech rivals just days after Shoals lodged a fresh infringement complaint against Voltage with the International Trade Commission.

The ITC issued a final determination in Shoals' complaint against Voltage on Jan. 14, concluding that Voltage had not violated §337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 by importing and selling its Lynx Trunk Bus System product, which "provides streamlined power transmission from solar panels to the power collection system," according to its website. The ITC had previously stricken two other patents that Shoals accused Voltage of infringing from its investigation in the spring of 2024.
