Police seized 19 ounces of marijuana from the home of Jeffrey Mauch, along with drug paraphernalia and a large marijuana plant. Mauch was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and felony cultivation of marijuana.

Over the prosecutor’s objection, the trial court reduced the cultivation charge to a misdemeanor and Mauch pleaded guilty to both charges.
