After getting sick from pills he had ingested, a student at Safford Middle School, in Safford, Arizona, told school administrators that he had received the pills from another student, and that certain unnamed students had been bringing drugs and weapons to school.

A week later, the same student approached Assistant Principal Kerry Wilson and showed him a pill that he had allegedly just received from another student. The pill was a prescription-strength ibuprofen tablet. The student disclosed that several students had received the pills and planned to take them at lunchtime. He identified the student he had received the pill from as Marissa.
