Dwayne Straub was arrested in February 2003 when police officers found marijuana plants and packaged marijuana in executing a search warrant at his residence in Oregon City, Oregon. Further investigation uncovered evidence that he was involved in a wide-ranging and long-standing conspiracy to manufacture and distribute methamphetamine.
Straub was charged by indictment with involvement in the sale and distribution of marijuana and methamphetamine from 1998 to September 2004 as part of the “White Neck Crew” or just “The Crew” gang. Straub and his associates were allegedly in the business of unlawfully entering the residences of other drug dealers in order to steal cash and drugs for later distribution. In many robberies, they wore body armor and displayed firearms.
