A bomb threat in downtown San Francisco caused the evacuation of at least two law firms Monday.
A man wearing a tube-shaped device with wires attached to his hand walked into the offices of Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein at around 12:40 p.m., partner Kelly Dermody said. After asking for directions to the men’s room, he returned and gave a note to the receptionist that claimed he had been passed over for an appearance on the television game show “The Price is Right” and asked the firm to “please help” him, she said.
