SAN FRANCISCO — Jim Carey’s going to have a rough Christmas this year.
Carey, a former IT trainer at Heller Ehrman in San Francisco, is one of hundreds of support staff who lost their jobs when the firm collapsed this fall. He is still looking for work, but feels lucky to have health insurance and a second income through his partner.
