The Third Appellate District affirmed a judgment. The court held that corporate officers could be held responsible under the responsible corporate officer doctrine for violation of the laws regulating the underground storage of hazardous substances.

In 1994 an underground storage tank owned and operated by The Customer Company leaked over 3,000 gallons of gasoline into the ground in the City of Galt. The Customer Company was a family company in which John and Ned Roscoe were officers, directors, and shareholders.
