The Second Appellate District affirmed in part and reversed in part a judgment. The court held that an employee’s compensation claims against a federally contracted employer were preempted only as to his claims arising under the McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act.

Gustavo Naranjo worked as a detention officer for Spectrum Security Services, Inc., which provided services in a county’s detention facilities under contract with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
