SAN FRANCISCO — For the second time in five years, San Francisco attorney Raul Aguilar is embroiled in a conflict with an attorney from his old firm. And though the new fight is winding down, it’s still dredging up disputes from the past.

The latest tangle stems from a falling-out between Aguilar and John Sebastinelli, Aguilar’s former colleague of nearly 18 years. Aguilar sued Sebastinelli shortly after Sebastinelli left their firm in June 2006, claiming that Sebastinelli stole trade secrets on his way out.
