SAN FRANCISCO — Howard Miller’s path to the State Bar presidency couldn’t have been easier. He had no opponents.
Late Friday, Miller, a partner with Los Angeles’ Girardi & Keese and a former president of the L.A. Board of Education, was elected the 2009-10 president by acclamation during a meeting of the State Bar Board of Governors.
