SAN FRANCISCO — Securities class action law firm Barroway Topaz Kessler Meltzer & Check has opened a three-lawyer San Francisco office headed by a former Coughlin Stoia Geller Rudman & Robbins partner.

“There’s a lot of litigation on the West Coast, and a lot of the institutional clients that we represent are here,” said Ramzi Abadou, 37, the Barroway Topaz partner managing the office. The 72-lawyer firm has only one other office, outside of Philadelphia.
