SACRAMENTO — A state senator says he will sue the attorney general, accusing him of writing a misleading title and summary for a proposed ballot initiative that would require Californians to show photo identification at the polls.

Sen. George Runner, R-Lancaster, said the title, “Limits on Voting,” is inaccurate and designed to dissuade registered voters from signing petitions required to place the measure on a 2010 ballot.
