Fourteen-year old R.D. reported to her grandmother that her father, Lorenzo Stevens, had sexually assaulted her and given her drugs. When police tried to arrest Stevens, he fled on foot. At one point during the chase, Stevens fled to a rooftop, where he threatened suicide. When finally apprehended, Stevens was agitated, combative, and uncooperative. He was taken to a hospital, where he had to be placed in restraints.
