SACRAMENTO — The state Assembly on Monday passed a new version of the 2010 State Bar dues bill, signaling the apparent end of Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s tiff with the lawyers’ organization.

The new bill is almost identical to the one Schwarzenegger vetoed last October. The Bar will still be authorized to collect $410 in active membership dues and fees, the same amount charged in 2009. The only difference is that this year, because of the veto-caused delay, the due date will shift from Feb. 1 to March 1.
