SAN FRANCISCO — Six candidates for three open seats have set their sights on the June election for the Santa Clara County bench.
Thomas Spielbauer, a former public defender in Santa Clara, is squaring off against JoAnne McCracken, a Santa Clara deputy district attorney who supervises the office’s robbery, assault and theft team. They’re going for the seat opening up with Judge John Garibaldi’s April retirement.
