Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed five new trial court judges Wednesday afternoon.
Robert LaForge, chief deputy district attorney in Sonoma County, will join the Sonoma County Superior Court bench. Except for a brief stint in private practice in 2004, LaForge has worked in the Sonoma County DA’s office since 1998.
