The Second Appellate District affirmed a judgment of conviction. The court held that evidence of a defendant’s past acts of stalking was admissible to show his propensity to commit the charged crimes of threatening and stalking his ex-wife.

From 2002 through 2004, Jason Ogle repeatedly assaulted, threatened and intimidated his wife. Some of these acts were reported, some went unreported, and some resulted in criminal convictions for, variously, violating a restraining order, spousal battery, and stalking. The couple divorced in 2004. Ogle went to prison the same year.
