Google Inc. relied on attorneys from Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in a $700 million deal that will get the Mountain View company into the flight information business.

Google announced today that it has signed an agreement to acquire ITA Software Inc., a Cambridge, Mass.-based company that uses technically advanced solutions for a customizable flight data operation tool available for airlines and online travel agencies.
