SAN FRANCISCO — Public Advocates, a nonprofit litigation group that has served as lead counsel in two other landmark education reform suits, is again taking on public education in California.

“We are bleeding away tremendous reserves of student potential and with it the future prosperity and welfare of our state,” Public Advocates managing attorney John Affeldt said today at a news conference announcing the suit, which is to be filed in Alameda County Superior Court.
