The Fourth Appellate District reversed a judgment and remanded. The court held that the evidence presented failed to support the trial court’s grant of summary judgment to the employer as to an employee’s claims of age and disability discrimination.
In early 2004, 56-year old Robert Sandell was hired as the vice-president of sales for Taylor-Listug, Inc., a guitar manufacturer. Chief executive officer and company co-founder Kurt Listug made the decision to hire Sandell. Company president Robert Taylor was another co-founder.
