SAN FRANCISCO — U.S. District Judge Claudia Wilken has dismissed a securities fraud class action against Rackable Systems Inc., now known as Silicon Graphics Inc.

Plaintiffs filed suit in 2009 alleging that between Oct. 30, 2006 and April 4, 2007 the Fremont-based computer server and storage system maker defrauded investors by failing to disclose materially adverse conditions that would impact the company’s financial results. The suit also named former CEO Thomas Barton, former Chief Financial Officer Madhu Ranganathan, and former Executive President of Operations Todd Ford.
