SAN FRANCISCO — William Freeman, who helped successfully defended McAfee Inc.’s former general counsel against SEC charges of improper stock option backdating, has left Cooley to join Jones Day.
He’s now a partner in the firm’s Silicon Valley office, with a securities litigation and SEC enforcement practice.
