SAN FRANCISCO — Microsemi Corp., maker of semiconductors for the military and aerospace companies, has agreed to acquire Actel Corp. for about $430 million.
Mountain View-based Actel makes field-programmable gate arrays, a type of integrated circuit, and sells them to companies serving the military and aerospace industries, as well as telecommunications, computer and automotive companies.
