THE QUICK BIO

Alexa King, vice president, legal and general counsel, joined Aruba in 2005 from Siebel Systems, where she was senior director of legal affairs from 2000 to 2005, managing, among other things, worldwide litigation and dispute resolution. From 1998 to 2000 she practiced at Fenwick & West and from 1995 to 1997 at Pillsbury, Madison & Sutro. After graduating from UC-Berkeley School of Law in 1994 she clerked for a year for Justice Steven Levinson of the Hawaii Supreme Court. She designed a special major in Eastern European studies at Harvard and graduated magna cum laude in 1990, then took a year off to work as a paralegal in San Francisco before starting law school.
