SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco-based Ngmoco Inc., maker of the hit iPhone games “We Rule” and “Godfinger,” has been acquired by Japan’s largest mobile game company, DeNA Co., in a cash-and-stock deal worth up to $400 million, the companies announced today.
Ngmoco will help DeNA expand its popular mobile social network, Mobage, in the Western world. It will also make games for Google’s Android operating system.
