SAN FRANCISCO Qualcomm Inc. wants to do more than manufacture chipsets for popular smartphones. It wants to develop software for them, too.
Qualcomm Innovation Center, Inc., a subsidiary of Qualcomm, announced Friday that it’s acquired San Francisco-based iSkoot, maker of mobile Internet software, for an undisclosed amount.
