SAN FRANCISCO – The Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals today dealt a blow to the pro-pot camp in upholding the convictions of a husband and wife who ran a medical marijuana operation in the Sierra Nevada community of Cool.
A three-judge panel unanimously rejected all of the claims the couple made on appeal, including arguments that sheriff’s deputies condoned their activities and even encouraged them to keep growing.
