SAN FRANCISCO — Sun Microsystems General Counsel Michael Dillon didn’t stick around long after Oracle Corp. acquired the company for more than $7.4 billion in January. He’s now general counsel for Silver Spring Networks, a provider of smart grid solutions in Redwood City, and is responsible for all aspects of the company’s legal operations.
“His vast experience, ranging from large publicly traded technology leaders to transformative, industry-defining pioneers, will be a great asset to the company,” CEO and President Scott Lang said in a statement.
