SAN FRANCISCO – Bay Area plaintiff attorney Joseph Cotchett sued Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger today on behalf of two taxpayers who hope to halt the sale of state buildings — including the California Supreme Court’s San Francisco home — to private owners.
The proposed $2.3 billion sale and lease-back deal affects 11 state-owned properties, including the Earl Warren and Hiram Johnson Buildings, which house the Supreme Court, the First District Court of Appeal, and the Administrative Office of the Courts.
