Amy Sollins has been named Hastings College of the Law ‘s new senior assistant dean for institutional advancement, effective Nov. 29. Sollins will also oversee the Office of Communications and Public Affairs. She most recently served as director of development for the Friends of the San Francisco Public Library.

Matt Kirmayer has joined Lowenstein Sandler ‘s Palo Alto office as a partner in the firm’s tech group. Kirmayer, who had previously been with Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, represents emerging tech companies and venture capital and private equity funds in the digital media, wireless, cleantech and life sciences sectors. He received his LL.M. from New York University School of Law in 1985 and his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law in 1984.
